Red Deer Polytechnic's academic schedule provides the Polytechnic community with important dates to help everyone plan their schedules.
The academic schedule shares information such as:
- when classes start and end each semester
- when final exams take place
- when Reading Week is held
- various other dates associated with academic and operational activities.

| Oct 24, 2025 | Mid-term feedback for Fall term. |
| Nov 7, 2025 | Final Exam schedule posted. |
| Nov 11, 2025 | Remembrance Day Holiday - Polytechnic closed. |
| Dec 9, 2025 | Last day of classes. Last day to withdraw from Fall term courses and receive a WD. |
| Dec 13, 2025 | First day of Final Exams. Last day of course waitlist for Winter term. |
| Dec 18, 2025 | Last day of Final Exams. |
| Dec 19, 2025 | Deferred Exams written. |
| Dec 20, 2025 | Last day for submission of final grades. |
| Dec 22, 2025 | Final grades available. |
| Dec 24, 2025 | Polytechnic closed at noon. |
| Dec 25 - 31, 2025 | Polytechnic closed. |
| Jan 1, 2026 | New Year's Day - Polytechnic closed. |
| Jan 2, 2026 | No credit classes - Polytechnic open. Last day to apply for Winter term. |
