More Program Information

In addition to meeting the academic requirements, some of our creative arts programs have additional admission requirements. Check your program below!

Bachelor of Applied Arts in Film, Theatre and Live Entertainment - Film Production

We will NOT be physically interviewing applicants this year, but we will be reviewing your Supporting Materials to make admission decisions. Please refer to the link below for detailed information and submission instructions:

  • Film Production Applicant Information- Fall 2022
  • To be considered in the first round of admission decisions for Fall 2022, Supporting Materials must be received by April 1, 2022. There are only 25 seats in this program so be sure to apply by the deadline!

Bachelor of Applied Arts in Animation and Visual Effects

As part of the application process, applicants must submit a Career Investigation Report. The Career Investigation Report is meant to ensure that you have a basic understanding of the 3D animation and visual effects industry and that the program is a good fit for your goals, as well as to assess your suitability as a candidate for the program.

Instructions for completing and submitting the Career Investigation Report will be provided to you in the application checklist section of your student portal (the Loop) after your application has been processed. Please note, the Career Investigation Report will be graded and used to determine admission to the program. There are only 22 seats in this program; therefore we encourage that you apply early!

To be considered in the first round of admission decisions for Fall 2022, Career Investigation Reports must be received by January 31, 2022.

Visual Art Diploma and Bachelor of Fine Art (University Transfer)

There are no additional requirements for admission to our visual art programs, which means that we do not require a portfolio submission! After submitting your application for admission, you will receive an email within 24-48 hours with login information for your student portal (the Loop), where your admission status will be posted.
