On Friday, October 1, we were thrilled to unveil Red Deer Polytechnic's new brand to our students, alum, employees, partners, supporters and community members, near and far.

What makes our new brand so special?
We are very proud of our new brand, because it was shaped by people from across the region who care about this institution - its past, present and future.
This new brand is the turning point in our journey, and it provides the foundation to help us create and shape our identity as Red Deer Polytechnic. It defines our reason for being and what we promise to offer as an institution.
Our brand, at its core, starts with the individual. Whether that might be individual students, faculty, staff, partners or communities. All of these individuals are together on a journey of growth, transformation and continuous lifelong learning.
We are Red Deer Polytechnic, and we can't wait to continue our journey with you!
What are the benefits of becoming Red Deer Polytechnic?
- We will evolve as a post-secondary institution, from our proud history as Red Deer College to our innovative future as Red Deer Polytechnic, and expand our breadth of programming and opportunities for learners.
- We will be able to offer more of our own degrees.
- There will continue to be program options in apprenticeships, certificates, diplomas, micro-credentials, collaborative degrees and other programs with partner post-secondary institutions.
- Growing opportunities for learners, partners, industry experts, and community members to collaborate in applied research, work integrated learning opportunities, and practical experiences.
- More central Alberta students will be able to complete their post-secondary education at home and remain in the region after graduation.
