Red Deer Polytechnic has three constituency groups which represent its employees. They are:
- Alberta Union of Public Employees (AUPE)
- Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)
- Faculty Association (FARDP)

About Faculty Association Members
The Faculty Association of RDP (FARDP) represents a membership of more than 400 instructors, counsellors and librarians at the post-secondary institution.
FARDP's mission is: to foster a positive environment in the College by facilitating the pursuit of teaching excellence and by promoting the professional and personal growth and well-being of its members.
