As a public post-secondary institution, Red Deer Polytechnic and its employees take seriously our accountability to our students and the communities we serve.
Red Deer Polytechnic’s Board of Governors is the institution's governing body. Strategic planning and daily operations are overseen by the Polytechnic's President and the Polytechnic Leadership Teams.
Individuals on a variety of committees help to oversee a variety of planning and operations, as well as playing an important role in making decisions that support Red Deer Polytechnic's core business of teaching and learning.
Our institution also has a variety of policies and forms that help guide consistent actions and processes across the College.
At Red Deer Polytechnic, we are proud to report on our successes. In the spirit of transparency, through our Financial Services and Institutional Research departments, we also ensure that our government partners, community members, and other stakeholders, receive valuable data and information that informs them, including:
- The organization's strategic and operational plans, compiled in annual reports and other documents
- Expense reports and public sector body compensation disclosure reports for our senior leaders
