Karen Walkley

Karen Walkley is the Director of Resource Planning and Client Services

She joined RDP in the fall of 2002 and has continued to serve the institution as a valued member of the Finance team. Karen’s aptitude for financial planning and budget management led her to the Budget Manager role and on to the Director of Resource Planning and Client Services.  

Karen is fiercely proud to be a part of the Red Deer Polytechnic community, she believes in the value of post-secondary education, the unlimited opportunities it creates and the impact that RDP has to our learners and our community.  

She draws on her education in business, technology, and project management along with her keenness for collaboration and relationship-building to progress forward with intention. Karen is focused on developing strategies for a financially sustainable RDP and a future that is committed to creative, innovative, and transformative learning experiences.
