Biography

Brennan Andres' diverse skill set, spanning technical proficiency, business acumen, and a commitment to sustainable innovation, positions him as an important contributor to the development and success of Red Deer Polytechnic’s Innovation Centres. 

Brennan trained as a Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician, which grounds him in the practicalities of technical expertise. However, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to own a successful microbrewery in Red Deer, Alberta where he managed daily operations, fostered community connections and cultivated a loyal customer base. Through strategic business development and industry collaborations, Brennan forged valuable partnerships, skills that noticeably transition into his current role at RDP. 

Supporting work being done in both the Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing (CIM-TAC) and the Energy Innovation Centre, Brennan focusses on project planning, scoping and supporting business development initiatives. He is motivated to contribute to the growth of applied research by helping to establish robust industry alliances and ensuring successful project execution.
